21.06.2010 At the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the presence of the Iranian Ambassador, Mr. Mahmoud-Reza Sajjadi, the first deal in the history of the Russian-Iranian Agreement in the field of Information Technologies was concluded: Playnatic Entertainment and Sina Data Co. signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Cooperation between Russia and Iran in the field of IT started with the online game industry. Unparalleled in the history of cooperation between both countries, an agreement was reached on comprehensive cooperation, where Playnatic is responsible for presenting the interests of CIS game industry companies to the Iranian market with the help of Sina Data Co. whilst simultaneously negotiating for Iranian games to enter the Russian market. “We appreciate a lot the attention and trust our new partners have expressed. We’re sure that our cooperation will be an important step in both companies’ business development. The appearance of Elements of War on the Iranian market is the first, but very important step in the realization of Playnatic’s global strategy. In the near future we’re planning to enter other World Wide Markets.” – Director of Playnatic Ent., Alexey Nikulin. With the ceremonial signing of the agreement, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mahmoud-Reza Sajjadi underlined the high importance of the agreement for the development of intergovernmental and cultural ties between Russia and Iran. Parties noted that the signed agreement will become a bridge allowing the presenting of Iranian Games in Russia and vice versa.
